Yes, our favorite, Katie Lowes is expecting her first child with her husband Adam Shapiro. While on an episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live, Katie Lowes made revelations on the gender of the upcoming baby. Scandal star Katie Lowes has finally quenched our thirst by revealing the gender of her baby.On Thursday night’s episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live, Katie Lowes seemed very excited and jumpy. While her fans wondered why she went on to announce that she was expecting her first born with her husband Adam Shapiro.

Furthermore, when asked about the gender of the baby, Lowes revealed that “It’s a boy”. Lowes also shared that the couple has “zero names” in mind for the boy. She shared with Jimmy Kimmel that her husband Adam Shapiro was on to the name “LeBron James”.

We have seen the 35-year-old Katie Lowes play the character Quinn Perkins in ABC’s Scandal. Lowes also shared that the first person to know about the pregnancy was the creator of Scandal, Shonda Rhimes. Lowes shared that “five minutes from being pregnant”, she had managed to tell Rhimes and the surprising fact was that Rhimes “already Knew”. She shared with Jimmy Kimmel that Shonda Rhimes is “a genius” for knowing about her pregnancy.

Katie Lowes and Adam Shapiro got married in 2012. While in Live With Kelly, She revealed that she had not wanted the wedding to be traditional since she had done “a million of them”! The couple then got married in Berkshires in a sleep away camp. The wedding had numerous shows, color wars, cabins, drum circle, fire pits, and more.
