Barbadian pop singer Rihanna is facing a family grief.  She lost her 21-year-old cousin Tavon Kaiseen Alleyne after being shot dead in Barbados on Boxing Day. Rihanna in grief has made an appeal to everyone. Let’s read below.

Rihanna and Tavon spent Christmas together a night before he was shot dead. She shared a photo of their celebration on her Instagram mentioning, “Rest In  Peace cousin… Its difficult to believe it was just last night that I held you in my arms! Never had a thought that would be the last time I felt the warmth of your body!!! Love you always bro! 😢🙏🏿❤ #endgunviolence”

Gun Violence in Barbados

As reported by the local news station, Nation News, Alleyne was making his way through the St Michael area –  Rihanna’s birthplace – around 7 pm on Tuesday night.
He was then shot by a man numerous time. He died in hospital.The investigation about the death is still going on.
The Barbados Police had already revealed that there’s been a  significant rise in gun violence in last 12 months.
A guy commented in Rihanna’s video of Alleyne – which shows Alleyne walking with his brothers and sisters saying “it feels nice to wake up” – mentioned, “gun violence in the Caribbean is so bad right now”.

“The gun violence is bumping off our people. It’s really worse in the Caribbean right now,” the commenter wrote. “It cracks my heart. Sorry for the loss. I feel the pain you are going through. My cousin was also shot. My uncle was lifted and beaten and he died in the hospital. God bless  our island men.”

Rihanna in grief just appeals to bring an end to gun voilence make world a peaceful place to live in.
