‘Home and Away‘ star Penny McNamee‘s husband Matt Tooker left his profession as a financier to take care of their 3-year old son Jack. Penny is a newcomer to the ‘Home and Away‘ family, a soap opera that runs on the Seven Network in Australia.
Penny is an Australian actress who not only plays in TV but also portrays roles of different characters in Theatre too whereas Matt is a financier. The pair tied their knot back in 2009 and after a couple of years, Penny conceived a baby.
Been married back in 2009, the pair of Penny and husband Matt is still in love.
The 35-year old said that when she was pregnant and breastfeeding at home, her husband Matt’s career was the prime concern. When she got the job of being a soap actress, Matt selflessly decided to call it quits on his career and stepped down making their son, Jack the first priority.

Matt said that it would be difficult for both the parents to give their 100 percent in their careers and one must be on call all the time for Jack.
The Australian actress then revealed that Matt decided his wife’s career and the new job on ‘Home and Away’ take precedence.
The financier, Matt Tooker must be one loving husband to give up on his own career and give priority to his wife’s career.
Penny further added that she considered herself lucky and very much grateful to have married such a man that was very pleased to step up and make sacrifices in his career since the whole series can’t be rescheduled at the last minute because of a sick child.

Everything was aligned perfectly for the soap actress and could solely focus on her career and not worry about her son, all thanks to her loving and elegant husband.
What could one ask for even more, when one has a selfless husband who would step down and leave his career for the well being of the family and to top it off a cute baby.
