Sean John Combs a.k.a P. Daddy, Puffy, P.Diddy was born on November 4, 1969. He is a rapper, singer, songwriter, actor, record producer and entrepreneur of American Music Industry. P.Diddy started as a talent director at Uptown Records and is the founder of label Bad Boy Entertainment in 1993. Platinum status of his debut album No Way Out in 1997 is a milestone in this music career. Foreever (1999), The Saga Continues… (2001) and Press Play (2006) and Last Train to Paris (2010) are some of the innovative contributions to the Music world by P. Diddy.

Early Life Track

The birth place of P. Diddy is Harlem, Manhattan, New York City and he grew up in Mount Vernon, NewYork. His Father Melvin Earl Combs one time U.S. Air Force serving person and his mother Janice (Smalls), was a model and teacher’s assistant. As an associate of convicted New York drug dealer Frank Lucas, his father was shot dead at age of 33 while in the car. P. Diddy was only of 2 years of age at the time.

The same year in July he releases The Saga Continues a last joint venture album of Arista Records and Bad Boy Entertainments. The only album under the name of P. Diddy peaks #2 o the Billboard 200 and the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums charts and gets Platinum certification. The album even did not include any feature artists.

The in 2002 as an executive producer of the reality TV show Making the Band airs on MTV and runs the show for 7 seasons till 2009. During the period he even announces to rename is stage name and gets into controversy and does out court settlement. P. Diddy also appears in the movies like Carlito’s Way: Rise to Power and A Raisin in the Sun in 2005. The same year he sells half of his company to Warner Music Group and hosts the 2005 MTV Video Music Awards.

The following month Bad Boy Records’ launches a tour to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the label. The same year a documentary Can’t Stop, Won’t Stop: A Bad Boy Story as a cover of Barclays Center in Brooklyn shows and behind-the-scenes events was released on June 23, 2017. P Diddy went however for 20 more shows in the United States and Canada.

Business Career

P. Diddy has not only involved in the music business but also in fashion. He has a clothing line Sean John with a nomination in Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA) Award for Menswear Designer of the Year in 2000. In 2004 along with the investment of a billionaire Ronald Burkle has won the award in 2004. P. Diddy also has a perfume “I Am King” for men launched in 2008 with a dedication to Barack Obama, Muhammad Ali and Martin Luther King Jr. The clothing line Sean John introduced a brand GIRLS collection in 2016.

Alongside, a clothing line P. Diddy was an owner of two restaurants with a name Justin’s after his son. The restaurants were closed in 2007 and 2012 in New York and Atlanta. He is a designer of the alternate jersey of Dallas Mavericks and contributing helper of Ciroc Vodka brand for 50% shares of the profits. He is also the present owner of Enyce clothing line. P. Diddy y is also a stakeholder of Revolt TV. Including all his assets P. Diddy owns a net worth of $820 million of assets.

Personal life, Charities and Controversies

Sean John Combs is a father of six children. His first child is Justin Combs born in 1993 to Misa Hylton-Brim his high school sweetheart. He was in on and off relationship with Kimberly Porter from 1994 to 2007 with an adoption and raised by Porter’s son Quincy from a previous marriage. They have a son Christian and twin daughters D’Lila Star and Jessie James. His daughter Chance was born to Sarah Chapman five months before the twins were born and took legal responsibility. P. Diddy owns a home in Alpine, New, Jersey.

He is the founder of an Organization Daddy’s House Social Programs helping inner city youths in 1995. Combs, in 2005 donate clothes from his clothing line and money alongside Jay-Z to the victims of Hurricane Katrina. Combs, has “Diddy Day” on October 13, 2006, by Chicago Mayor Richard M.
