Mishal Husain was born to Pakistani parents in Northampton, England. She was very small when her family moved to the UAE, where her father practiced his doctor profession. Husain went to receive her school education in Abu Dhabi. She later returned to London to resume her education at Cobham Hall, an independent school based in Kent.

Husain studied law and got her degree from Murray Edwards College, Cambridge and afterward she went to obtained her master degree in International and Comparative Law from the prestigious, European University in Florence, Italy.

Moreover, she is also the brand ambassador for the charity foundation, Mosaic. The organization aims to aid the young people who hail from deprived communities to realize and fulfill their potential as well as achieve their dreams in the near future.

Moving towards her personal life, Mishal Husain is a happily married woman.  She is married to her husband, Meekal Hashmi, a fund lawyer by profession. The couple of Mishal and Meekal tied their wedding knot in 2003.

The duo is also the proud parents of three children. Their names are Rafael ( born 2005) and twin boys Zaki and Musa( born on 2006). She is very fond of her children and is often seen spending her off time with her boys.

In addition, the couple, Mishal Hussain and Meekal Hashmi are currently enjoying and living a blissful marital life. The relationship between them is an ideal one as their love and bond is growing stronger with time. There is no controversy related to her. However in 2011, Husain through her social media, Twitter described that her children were racially abused in a supermarket.
