This lovely couple first met at Augusta State University, when Patrick transferred from Georgia after his freshman year. They are supportive of one another and used to see together.

After two years of the marriage, Karain was hospitalized in 2014, after having a seizure in the bathroom. She was very lucky to survive, and it was only because of her husband that Patrick found her so quickly that it was not more damaging.
