Constance Wu broke up with Boyfriend Hethcoat. She is single now!

Not all relationships are awarded forever and smiles. Some relationships are meant to teach you that love is precious. Constance Wu’s relationship with Ben Hethcoat faced the same fate; their forever ended after a few years of dating.

Constance Wu’s Relationship

Listed as one of the most influential people in 2017 by Time, Constance Wu was in a relationship with her boyfriend, Ben Hethcoat. The couple looked very happy together and had a fair share of memories together.

Constance revealed that she had met her boyfriend Hethcoat in 2011 at friend Ryan Spindell’s Christmas Party through a tweet in 2015.

Constance Wu’s ex-boyfriend Ben has worked as a director for Slamdance TV for two years, 2012-14. As a producer, Hethcoat’s first feature movie was Dead Dad that released in April 2012.

Born and raised in Richmond, Virginia, Constance Wu’s family was Taiwanese. Wu’s relationship with her white boyfriend caused quite a controversy on the Internet as it made her a hypocrite for speaking out for Asian American issues and racisms.

The lovebirds had enjoyed each other’s company for four years and parted ways. Both parties have not provided any statement regarding their break up, but they did look amazing as a couple.

Constance’s ex-boyfriend in 2016 January 18 had posted on his Instagram, stating “Incredibly proud of my love.”

Both Wu and Hethcoat embraced their love for one another through social media handles, which are non-existent today.

Together they had made many public appearances. The couple appeared on the 21st Annual Critics Choice Awards, which was held at Baker Hanger Airport, Los Angeles, California, on January 17, 2016.

Sadly, Constance Wu’s relationship with Hethcoat did not last long, but things happen for good, and them parting their ways would benefit them more than anyone.

Very Secretive About Her Personal Life

Crazy Rich Asian star Constance Wu is very private about her relationship status. Despite being secretive, she could not resist but mention her secret boyfriend in Aug/September of 2018. Although Constance Wu’s boyfriend stays a mystery, she did reveal that her man is not an animal person but is a good person by heart.

While Constance’s love life remains a question mark, we do know that she’s an avid rabbit lover. She loves her pet rabbit, Lid Rose, and further explains that her heart melts when she sees her bunny.
